Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says.

Sunday:
Stay tuned to check out what is happening this week in Houston!  We are about to start Workcamp by doing a food drive around the area.

Our Workcamp theme is Revolutionary Love and we will be talking about the different parts of that and what it means for our lives.

Tonight at worship and in our small groups we will be talking about the word Revolution.

Monday:
We had a great workday today.  We are working at a place south of downtown called Mission Milby.  Most of us worked there and we scraped and painted a fence around the perimeter of the building and we started building a deck for them to have concerts on outside.  There was a group that went to a nearby house and did a lot of clearing of brush and tree limbs.

In a little while we are going to have our pool party and burger cookout so stay tuned for more pictures.

Tuesday:
Well we are finished working!  We got everything done that we set out to do today which is great.  The kids had a good time working and it wasn't as hot today which was nice.  We helped to paint the inside of a fellowship hall today and we even helped to clear out a ditch so that the city can do some work in it.

Tonight we will be talking about the word Restoration and how that fits into Jesus' revolutionary love for us.  We will end with a communion service which is always special.

After worship it's time to dance, dance, dance!

Funday:
Wednesday morning we headed to Arlington to go to Six Flag Over Texas.  We got there around 2 and had a great time until they had to shut down most of the rides due to a storm that was coming in.  Definitely started pouring shortly after that.  We got a little wet but we still had a good time at the park.
