The Fellows' Week at a Glance |
|
This is a tentative schedule and will be finalized before the Fellows begin in September.
MONDAY-WEDNESDAY is spent in a paid internship, typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Monday evening is spent building purposeful community through a meal and roundtable discussion, typically from 6:30-9:30 PM.
TUESDAY nights at the Refuge we prepare a delicious family friendly meal called “Fat Tuesday.” Fellows will have the chance to participate in Fat Tuesday by helping in the kitchen, sharing a meal with youth, and countless other ways.

WEDNESDAY evening could be spent in two ways: first would be a seminary-level course in the Old Testament (Fall) and New Testament (Spring), or this time could be spent as a group in spiritual formation, wrestling with how to live a Gospel centered, God-filled life.
THURSDAY is a day of study for reflection, reading, and rest. Much is expected of the Fellows and it is important that they are given time to physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually process their experiences in a healthy manner. The Fellows gather in the late afternoon for a service project within the community.
FRIDAY morning is spent in seminary level seminars. The rest of the day and evening are free.
SATURDAY is the Fellows’ day off, though they will also have the opportunity to participate in church-wide programs and youth outreach, retreats and other events.
SUNDAY is a time for worship and participation in a Sunday School class in the morning with a few hours in the afternoon devoted to leading and discipling youth. |
