There will be all kinds of great stuff happening this week in Brady so keep checking the site to see any updates. Thank you for your prayers as we travel and as we go to serve God, the people of Brady, and each other.
Sunday:
We had a great first day in Brady. We got here around 5 yesterday and got all of our stuff set up. Dinner was provided by a group in Brady and it was delicious.
In our small group time and worship we talked about the word "revolution." Steve talked about joining the revolution of love this week in Brady.

Monday:
Our work started out with a bang today at 4 different sites. We are working at a day care center called Casa Care, a womens' shelter, and a few other sites where we worked on clearing a virtual jungle, and a building that we are painting.

Tuesday:
Well today was a great day of work. We worked so hard on Monday that we had to start working at another site. We worked at the local food bank helping to restore one of their pantries. We also delivered bags to neighborhoods in preparation for collecting food tomorrow. We continued work on the day care and the womens' shelter replacing tiles, cleaning, and lots and lots of painting!
Wednesday:
Almost there! We got a lot of great work done today. We have pretty much finished working on the jungle of a house. We are moving right along at the day care and the womens' shelter.
The theme for worship tonight is restoration and talking about what that means for us and for our faith.

Thursday:
We got all of the work done that we set out to do plus some other stuff that we added later in the week. It was a week full of work and fun. Thursday night's worship service was awesome. We talked about Jesus' revolutionary love and finished our small groups with the leaders washing their small groups' hands. We finished our worship for the week with a communion service.

Friday:
Funday this year was awesome! We went to Brady Lake and hung out in the sun all day. We not only got to swim, but we had a bunch of inflatable games to play along with some delicious carnival foods.
Friday night we had the annual talent show which was all kinds of entertaining. We closed out the week with our Workcamp dance and of course, Proud to be an American.
